Prenatal & Postanal Yoga

The Gasquet Method, developed by Dr. Bernadette de Gasquet, combines yoga principles with in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology. It offers a safe approach to support women during pregnancy and after childbirth.

Prenatal Yoga: Preparing the Body and Mind

Prenatal yoga based on the Gasquet Method helps relieve common discomforts during pregnancy (such as back pain, pelvic tension, etc.) through exercises that improve posture, promote optimal breathing, and gently strengthen the deep muscles. It also prepares the body and mind for childbirth, teaching breathing and relaxation techniques to manage contractions and approach labor with greater serenity.

Postnatal Yoga: Recovering Gently

Postnatal yoga helps with perineal rehabilitation, posture correction, and relieving postpartum pain while respecting the body’s natural recovery process. My classes are open to new mothers, with or without baby, and are adapted to each stage of recovery.

I am excited to introduce my new speciality: Rebozo Care, an ancient Mexican ritual that I now incorporate into my sessions. This unique treatment offers a moment of deep relaxation, reconnection, and self-care.

What is Rebozo Care?

Rebozo is a traditional Mexican shawl used for centuries by midwives to support, rock, and tighten the body at different life stages. Rebozo Care combines:

• Soothing rocking movements to calm the body and mind.

• Tightening movements to recenter energy and provide a sense of security.

• Deep relaxation to promote letting go and integrating the benefits of the treatment.

The Origins of the Rebozo Ritual

Rooted in Mexican traditions, the Rebozo ritual was initially used during significant life transitions such as birth, marriage, menopause, or personal transformation. It symbolizes support, sisterhood, and the art of self-care in a space of softness and respect.
